Version 2.0 Patch Notes
- Scenery/camera changes have been made to the following levels:
- Level 1-6
- Level 1-7
- Level 1-9
- Level 1-10
- Level 1-11
- Level 1-12
- Level 1-13
- Level 1-14
- Level 1-15
- Level 1-16
- Level 1-17
- Level 1-18
2. Updates have been made to the user interfaces:
- The current level is now displayed in the bottom-right corner of the player interface. This is to help players remember where they are in the game, as well as to make it easier for them to point out potential bugs/errors/difficulties in said levels.
- A total death count is now displayed in the bottom-left corner of the player interface. This is to help further communicate the kind of game The Hex Perplex is. Many players in the initial launch were not aware that the game is meant to be difficult. I am looking for more ways to help communicate this message, so any feedback is welcome.
- On the title screen the game's current version is now displayed.
3. The Tutorial levels have been removed and replaced with a Controls Menu with pictures and corresponding keys.
4. Changes have been made to the following units/abilities:
- A bug that caused the player to slide off the edge of a platform has been fixed.
- The minimum space requirement in front of the player in order to use Glacial Wave has been removed
- The stationary and flying enemy variants will now activate a visual + audio charging cue to alert the player of an incoming attack.
